Nozzle clogs area true engine company emergency and every nozzle firefighter, from the newest to the most senior should be proficient in how to recognize and overcome them.

In this episode, Brian Brush​ reviews two types of clogs and how to handle them:

  1. A temporary clog that can be overcome with the nozzle flush feature.
  2. A hard clog in which the nozzle tip would have to be removed.
